Can you stand a little Chemistry?

Another name for Hydrogen Peroxide is Hydrogen Dioxide because its chemical formula is H2O2 due to the fact that its molecule contains one more atom of oxygen than the molecule of water. We have all heard of the Ozone Layer which surrounds the earth although it is not evenly spaced out being rather weak at the poles. The molecule of Ozone contains three atoms of Oxygen in a special arrangement or bond with the formula O3. This layer of Ozone is very important to us for protection against the more harmful rays of the sun known as ultra violet light.

The Ozone in the Layer is formed when ultra violet light splits the normal Oxygen molecule O2, into two unstable Oxygen atoms. These unstable atoms then combine again in threes forming Ozone but they are still not very stable in this arrangement. If you would like to see a great deal of reporting about the Ozone Layer by a group of scientists then I would invite you to look at this website. (1) It is not a subject which inspires great hope for the world’s governments doing anything significant about the immense problems we are facing. Just maybe they will turn their attention away from arms production and defence to the survival of our planet.

Are you still with me?

So now it gets even more interesting. This is because the Ozone gives up its ‘extra’ atom of Oxygen to rainwater forming H2O2 or Hydrogen Peroxide. The fascinating part of all this is that this whole scenario is interlinked inextricably with our own existence on this earth. This is for the following reasons: A: Hydrogen Peroxide is essential to our own bio-existence. It is present in our bodies and is responsible for a large number of interactions inside them. We also obtain it from fresh fruits. It is present in mother’s milk for breast fed newborn babies. If it is present in mother’s milk it is logical that it is present in cow’s milk for the same reasons. It is even present in honey. B: The ultra-violet light which is being filtered out by the creation of the Ozone layer is also necessary to our body for the formation of Vitamin D but of course in much safer and more dilute ‘doses’. For more details listen to Dr Michael F Hollick, PhD., MD, Director of the Vitamin D, Skin and Bone Research Laboratory, Boston University School of Medicine. Vitamin D is probably the oldest vitamin in the world stretching back one billion years. See his lecture (given at breakneck speed and very entertaining) at ref (2) below. Without this double beneficial effect it is unlikely that any life let alone advanced human life would have formed on this earth. And that is one quite astounding philosophical concept when you give it a little more thought. Did all this happen just by accident??? Don’t try to kid me.

Does Mankind know Better?

Of course the next stage is what happened when mankind came along and started to change things ‘for the better’ – he thought! The rainwater containing Hydrogen Peroxide falls to earth to benefit plants, animals and human beings all. The Ozone protects us whilst forming the Hydrogen Peroxide and also allowing some UV light through to encourage the formation of Vitamin D in our bodies. This is all part of a delicate balance protecting the diversity of life on this earth as we know it. If this balance is destroyed that very diversity is compromised. Many farmers are already aware of this and take steps to increase crop yields by spraying them with diluted hydrogen peroxide (5 to 16 ounces of 35% H2O2 mixed with 20 gallons of water per acre). You can achieve the same beneficial effect with your house plants by adding 1 ounce of 3% hydrogen peroxide (or 16 drops of 35% solution) to every quart of water you give your plants. (It can also be made into an excellent safe insecticide. Simply spray your plants with 8 ounces of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide mixed with 8 ounces of white sugar and one gallon of water.) (3)

Can we live in HALF our normal supply of Oxygen?

Destruction of this balance is achieved by the production of excess chemicals of different kinds and releasing them into the atmosphere. Smoke and discharge from factory chimneys in the form of airborne wastes all serve to remove the Hydrogen Peroxide from the rainwater before it reaches the ground. Other forms of pollution such as carbon monoxide and the other products of the combustion of petrol also help to reduce the level of Oxygen in our air from its normal percentage of around 20% to as little as 10% in some heavily polluted areas. Hydrogen Peroxide is purifying and Oxygen is essential for our life. This lack of Oxygen is one of the principle causes of all cancers and the Hydrogen Peroxide which purifies and replenishes the Oxygen we need is also reduced by the rainwater pollution. So our main defence against cancer is also being removed. Add to this information the fact that it is now being realized that Vitamin D is also a major factor in the rise in the incidence of a number of serious diseases not only Rickets (of course but), Osteomalacia, Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid arthritis, High blood pressure, Coronorary Heart disease and cancer as well as many infectious diseases …. and the whole picture begins to come together. The more we live in caves or concrete blocks of flats and deny ourselves the essential Sunlight we need…. Need I go on? (4)

Can we ‘fight back’? Do we have a solution?

You may be very pleased to find out that there are solutions to these problems. The first part of any solution is to know that we have a problem. The second is to know what the problems is and how it came about. The final part is to know what we can do about it.

So here goes: -

  1. Increase our oxygen intake

  2. Find sources of Hydrogen Peroxide which we can absorb

  3. Get out into the sunlight as much as possible to increase our intake of Vitamin B.

So how do we go about all of this?

That is the aim of this website. I am not here to convert you. That is not the purpose of science. I am only here to explain. If I am not explaining it clearly enough then please tell me and I will do my best to clarify. Contact me.

  1. Increasing our Oxygen intake. Get out into the fresh air as much as possible. Learn to breathe again. If you suffer from distressed breathing try taking ten deep breaths one after the other. Breaths which will fill your lungs completely. Distressed breathing comes from insufficient oxygen in the air we breathe. We have probably all experienced it at some time or another. You will never experience it again if you take this systematic approach to deal with it.

  1. Eat foods rich in H2O2 such as fresh fruits, particularly dark fruits drink fresh milk and preferably unpasteurized (if you can beat the sacred cow of pasteurization!) Eat honey instead of sugar. Avoid – if you can – drinking water treated with chlorine which removes hydrogen peroxide and dissolved oxygen, as well as ALL bacteria and other microbes – but at a serious cost to us. (5) Consider the use of hydrogen peroxide therapy. (Read either Dr David Williams: “The Many Benefits of Hydrogen Peroxide, or Madison Cavanaugh’s book: “The One Minute Cure” both of which are available from this website. Click here for more information.)

  1. Get out into the Sunlight as much as possible. We all need a minimum of 15 minutes twice a week in the full sunshine without a suntan cream or a ‘sun-blocker’. This will raise our Vitamin D levels sufficiently to guard against many kinds of diseases. Contrary to fashionable belief, sunlight is not dangerous. You will not ‘fry’ in the first fifteen minutes; nor do you need sun-glasses for this period. Get your Vitamin D first. Expose as much of your skin as is respectable and go to it and enjoy it. Don’t be afraid of the sunlight you need it, just be prudent later. If you are still worried about sunburn remember that you can become sun burned even on a bright cloudy day if you are not used to it and you stay there for half a day without realizing the problem. Those of us who have a naturally darker skin – before the sunburn, can actually require more time spent making the Vitamin D. This is because the darker skin reduces the effects of the UV light in order to protect us. Especially important for people who may have come from countries such as Africa where sunlight exposure is very high, to a more temperate climate. For more information on Vitamin D visit the following website: www.vitaminDhealth.org

An interesting footnote here is that it has just emerged that according to some new research Vitamin D is 8 times more effective against Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (Including Swine Flu) than any vaccine. In a clinical trial led by Mitsuyoshi Urashima and conducted by the Division of Molecular Epidemiology in the the Department of Pediatrics at the Jikei University School of Medicine Minato-ku in Tokyo found that vitamin D was extremely effective at halting influenza infections in children.
